Privacy policy for WhatsApp communication
1. Controller

2. Purpose of processing
We use WhatsApp Business exclusively to communicate with guests and customers — for example to confirm reservations, answer questions, or provide general information about the restaurant.
3. Data collected
The following data is processed via WhatsApp communication: phone number, name (if provided in the WhatsApp profile), message content, and timestamps of the communication.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient customer communication).
5. Third-party transfers
Messages are transmitted via the WhatsApp Business platform of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., which processes metadata according to its own privacy policy. We do not share your personal data with any other third parties.
6. Retention period
Messages are retained only as long as necessary for the purpose of the communication, and for a maximum of 12 months, unless longer retention is required by law.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, and restriction of processing of your data, as well as the right to object. Complaints may be submitted to the Luxembourg data protection authority (CNPD): www.cnpd.lu
8. Voluntary use
Using WhatsApp to contact us is voluntary. Email and telephone remain available as alternatives.
